About the location
Peaceavon is surrounded by beautiful countryside with local nature walks, access to sports and leisure facilities, and river boat trips. There are many places of interest close by, such as National Trust, English Heritage and museums. There are local shopping opportunities too, for example Pershore with its independent boutiques and Evesham with the range of shops at 'The Valley'.

Although Peaceavon is situated on 'Main Road', this is 'no through road' for cars and lorries at the railway bridge. It is situated in the quaint village of Wyre Piddle (name derived from Wier and Brook); wander down picturesque church street with its half timbered thatched cottages to the norman church with its font dating back to c1140.

The Anchor pub is a 5 minute walk from the house. Wyre is close to the attractive town of Pershore with its Abbey and excellent restaurants and take away establishments. It is within easy reach of Worcester and Great Malvern where a trip to the Malvern Hills is a must, and even take in the Morgan Factory Tour.

For those interested in history, Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick castle make a great day out.

For those who merely want to relax and not go far, just relax from the balcony or terrace and take in the views, watch the wildlife, take up a spot of fishing from the river bank (as long as you have an appropriate rod licence), or paddle-boarding for the more energetic.
